WHOLESALE SALES ASSISTANT / ACCOUNT MANAGER
Company located on Fifth Avenue that sells consumer goods not apparel is looking for two wholesale account managers.
Company has very little turnover almost none and is a great place to work.
About the
Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wholesale Account Manager to manage and grow our wholesale business in the New York. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in wholesale account management within the fashion or consumer goods industry, a strong understanding of the wholesale market, and excellent communication and relationship-building skills. This role will be instrumental in driving sales, building strong partnerships with key retailers, and achieving our revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
Manage existing wholesale accounts.
Achieve and exceed targets.
maintain strong relationships with key retail buyers.
Conduct and analyze sales trends.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., design, production, marketing) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Prepare and present sales presentations on PowerPoint when needed.
Manage order processing, tracking, and follow-up.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery.
Provide exceptional customer service and support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in wholesale account management within the fashion industry or consumer goods Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of the wholesale market and retail landscape.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
