Capable of overseeing the Powder Coat process including all employees, system related equipment and facility during the work shift.
Confirm all employees are adhering to safety, quality and environmental policies and standards throughout each shift – provide training and coaching as necessary.
Ensure all required process quality testing is being performed and results are being recorded. Communicate and address all non-conformances discovered.
Schedule work using Syteline dispatch, investigate shortages and communicate to other team members verbally and via email.
Work closely with supervision to address departmental issues including: Safety, Environmental, Quality, Human Resource and Materials.
QualificationsQualifications:
Motivated leader with excellent communication skills and ability to multitask a must.
Must be able to work various shifts including overtime and weekends.
Strong organizational skills including computer skills. (MS, Excel, Outlook, Word).Forklift Operator Certification required.
Handle material up to 50 lbs.
High School Diploma or GEDPrevious leadership experience overseeing 5 or more people preferred.
Work Environment:
The work environment is a metal fabrication machine shop.
