Conventional Position Summary To continuously develop and sustain a thoroughly professional Graphic & Fotolito Section. Assurance of professional preparation of graphic projects and lithography, which responding to customer needs in the scope of graphic design options. Searching for modern solutions in the field of graphics, lithography, and the use of printing materials. Essential Functions/Key Deliverables Supervise the lithography preparation and approval process. Review/approve lithography documents provided by clients. Ensure department operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals. Participate in recruitment and selection process. Oversee the preparation of a set of materials related to the new lithography as needed. Oversee the preparation of lithography patterns and bar codes, if needed. Supervise/oversee the process of approving lithography standards. Confirm/approve the compliance of the lithography pattern with customer requirements. Ensure proper organization of material distribution to other CANPACK facilities. Ensure correct stock of inks/plates in coordination with Sales and Purchase & Logistics departments. Ensure 100% adherence to the Master Color Index for making Customer approved Inks shades. Support the Sales department in initiating and conducting meetings with representatives of the customer marketing department in order to present our innovative capabilities. Will be responsible for leading the Graphic & Fotolito section in accordance with company policies and procedures. Will lead graphic and lithography approvals with/without customers to meet quality standards. Will coordinate with production team members during start up to ensure correct production order and Photolithography. Coordinate with team members and Quality on Photolithography projects required for graphics needs to meet corporate guidelines and quality requirements. Supervise to ensure timely changes are performed in the photolithography. Provide expertise and knowledge of design and manufacturability in the production process. Apply established corporate branding specifications and ensure work meets corporate guidelines. Responsible for the approval of invoices for supplies within the Graphic department, as needed. Ensure all raw materials (e.g., Plates, inks, chemical, etc.) are available to meet production plans for client orders. Responsible for the upkeep of all machinery/equipment in the department. Supervise receiving and issuing of raw materials for use in area and ensure they are within budget. Oversee the routine maintenance of the machine/equipment and ensure the conditions meet safety, cleanliness, and good operating conditions. This includes ensuring daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual pm’s are completed. Responsible for clean and safe work areas that meet 5S, GMP, ISO, IMS, WCM and HACCP systems must be strictly observed. Understand BRC requirements and ensure department is in compliance Oversee/approve the accurate recording of department employee’s attendance system and provide all necessary information to enable accurate payroll preparation. Manage employees and conduct employee evaluations to include motivating, assessing employees’ competences and potential, ensure continuing development, setting tasks and goals for employees (short and long-term) as well as controlling and assessing the results achieved. Ensure inventory audits are completed as required. Perform any other duties reasonable corresponding with the role. Knowledge/Skills/Experience Bachelor’s degree or experience in a related/similar field (prior Beverage Can Manufacturing experience preferred). Prior supervisory experience preferred.
