Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Operational Readiness Cutover Lead with a strong background in Oracle Utilities (CC&B, C2M, MDM, etc.) to manage and coordinate all aspects of cutover planning and execution for a major utility implementation project.
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of cutover activities in alignment with the program timeline.
Collaborate with business, technical, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth transition from legacy systems to Oracle Utilities.
Develop and manage detailed cutover checklists and runbooks.
Ensure all cutover tasks are well-documented, communicated, and executed across multiple workstreams.
Conduct readiness assessments and ensure all systems, users, and processes are fully prepared for go-live.
Mitigate risks and issues related to cutover and develop contingency plans.
Provide regular updates and reporting to leadership and project stakeholders.
Coordinate mock cutovers and dress rehearsals to validate readiness.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Cutover Lead in large-scale utility implementations.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities applications such as CC&B, C2M, MDM, or CCS.
Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.
Experience in developing and executing operational readiness plans.
Familiarity with ITIL, change management, and release management practices.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP or related certification
Prior experience in the utilities industry (Gas, Water, Electric)
Experience working with system integrators and offshore/onsite models
