Shift Supervisor Job Overview:
This position is responsible for monitoring and coordinating the flow of work throughout the production floor to ensure efficient operations and adherence to production schedules. Approximately 75% of the time will be spent overseeing workflow to maintain continuous movement of materials and tasks through the plant. The remaining 25% of the time will involve performing production-related tasks to support overall operational efficiency. This role does not include direct supervision of personnel.
Qualifications:
Excellent leadership, problem solving and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal direction. Self-motivated and results-oriented leader who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Previous supervisory and warehouse experience Ability to operate industrial equipment safely and properly, including forklift and pallet jack Ability to read, write and follow instructions and work independently

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Requires regular use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry materials and products up to 50 pounds as needed. Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and crouching may be required during routine tasks. Ability to climb stairs and ladders or access elevated areas if necessary. Requires normal visual acuity and hearing to safely operate machinery and interact with team members. Must be able to work in varying environmental conditions such as heat, cold, noise, and exposure to dust or fumes, depending on plant conditions. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc., for the duration of the shift. 2nd Shift 2:00pm – 10:00pm Monday – Friday
