Role:
In this leadership role as the Store Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to influence your team to higher levels. You will ensure customer and vendor relationships are maintained. You will continuously identify opportunities to develop your team, improve the speed and quality of support, while increasing operational efficiency. You will prioritize and act on those opportunities by setting challenging goals that are executed following a project management framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling, organizing, and planning daily activities for team members to insure efficient store operations. Assists in training and leading team members in providing exceptional customer service. Creating a desirable work environment through recognition and empowerment. Promotes a safe and productive work environment for team members and customers. Ensure the store achieves company objectives and KPI goals. Ensure that the store is a maintained cleanliness and organized store. Maintain and build community relationships with networking events. Assists Office Manager with ordering and inventory management. Assists Back Yard/Drivers with loading and driving needs. Thorough product knowledge. Demonstrate decision-making ability, leadership skills, and ability to prioritize and delegate. Bring high energy, enthusiastic, and displays an affinity for our products, core values, company philosophy.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Prefer College Degree, but not required 5+ years’ experience in business and management Flexible availability to meet the needs of the business (including evening and weekends). Physical Requirements/Working Conditions Must be able to lift 50 pounds. In an hour 8-hour work day: standing/walking.
Exposure to temperatures:
32-40 degrees Fahrenheit, >90 degrees Fahrenheit. Ability to work in a wet and cold environment Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutter and heavy machinery.
