We’re seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead our new Nashville location! The Retail Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining customer experience within the store. Store Managers are accountable for the operation of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandise, inventory, expense control, human resources management, and managing operating costs and shrinkage. Responsibilities Training and developing store employees in all aspects of the business; directing and monitoring training and development for all store personnel Ensuring that each Customer receives outstanding Customer Service by providing a customer friendly environment which includes the 5 points of service. Proactively engage with customers to drive sales and meet or exceed store goals. Train proper sales techniques and motivate team to meet or exceed store goals. Ensure company SOP’s and expectations are followed appropriately. Developing and implementing plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals and objectives Inventory and Shrinkage control Ensuring appropriate merchandise stock levels, merchandise adjacencies and presentations, signage, and assortment in all departments; ensuring selling floor is stocked. Ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures through regular store management and staff meetings, store walk-throughs, and audits Continually evaluating and reacting to performance issues and actively recruiting store candidates with reviews and coaching Work with the team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. Participate in sales challenges and contribute ideas to improve performance. Provide feedback on customer trends to help optimize store strategies. Fostering an environment where improvements to products, processes and service are welcomed and encouraged. Acting as a brand ambassador for SBC and its products. Building a solid team of individuals who display outstanding customer service & sales skills. Maintain an upbeat, eager & positive attitude. Be supportive of the store team. Security of Store and Staff Maintaining Fire Safety & Health Department Certification Assist in budget creation and monthly monitoring of expenses Creating schedules & manage labor cost Performing other duties as assigned Requirements and Skills Functional knowledge of Microsoft office suite, including excel, teams, outlook, word, and power point Ability to process information and merchandise through a computer system and POS register system Ability to communicate with associates and guests Ability to read, count, and write, to accurately complete all documentation Ability to freely access all areas of the store including the selling floor, stock area, and register area Ability to operate and use all the equipment necessary to run the store Ability to work varied hours/days to oversee store operations to include nights, weekends, and holidays/ Opening and Closing Minimum 4 years previous store manager experience or equivalent; preferably at least 2 years store management AND 2 years food service management or bar management Savannah Bee Company is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace where all individuals are valued and respected.
