We are seeking an experienced Open-Store Remodel Superintendent to oversee night-shift remodels for major ret ail clients, including Trader Joe’s, Walmart, and similar big-box stores. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a background in retail construction, especially in live-store environments. The superintendent will be responsible for managing night operations, coordinating with store staff, and ensuring remodels are completed efficiently with minimal impact on store activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight:

Lead night-shift remodels in open-store environments, focusing on minimizing disruptions to store operations and maintaining a safe environment.

Team Supervision:

Direct and coordinate subcontractors and labor teams to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards.

Client Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with store management and clients, ensuring that project goals and timelines are met.

Problem-Solving:

Address and resolve on-site issues quickly to maintain project momentum and adapt to unforeseen challenges.

Safety and Quality Control:

Enforce safety protocols and conduct quality inspections to meet company and client standards.

Qualifications:

Experience:

5+ years of superintendent experience in open-store remodels, with specific experience in Trader Joe’s, Walmart, or similar retail projects.

Night Shift Availability:

Must be available for night shifts to align with client schedules.

Travel Requirements:

Willing to travel extensively and stay on-site as needed for the duration of projects.

Communication Skills:

Strong ability to communicate with both team members and clients to ensure seamless project execution.

Preferred:

OSHA certification or other relevant safety certifications.

Competitive salary with night shift premiums, travel allowances, and a comprehensive benefits package.
