Overview:
As an Assistant Store Manager (ASM), you will use yourcustomer service and leadership experience to provide a white-gloveexperience for our customers. Working closely with your leaders todevelop your leadership skills in real-time, you will help coachour Customer Service Representatives and play a key role in helpingthe team produce results. Responsibilities:
Provide an exceptional customer experiencethroughout the full cycle of the loan or pawn process by educatingconsumers and making recommendations based on their financialneeds. Assist in customer account management by accepting payments,monitoring, and managing customer appointments. Provide support for recovery processes while maintaining a focus oncustomer service to prevent loss and charge-off accounts. Work to meet Company-set performance standards by leveragingbusiness-to-business partnership opportunities, obtainingreferrals, and participating in and hosting in-store and communityevents. Develop customer relationships to build new business, maintainstore profitability, and further brand loyalty and recognition. Provide support, coaching, and development to Customer ServiceRepresentatives to ensure adherence to quality standards and safetyprocedures. Maintain customer information in the Point of Sale (POS) systemwith accuracy and integrity. Help ensure a work environment that upholds compliance with Companypolicies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal lawsand regulations. Maintain office security protocols and conduct proper opening andclosing procedures, including management of vault, cash drawer, andbank deposits. Monitor and maintain internal and external store appearance andcleanliness, addressing basic facility needs and schedulingmaintenance services. Work efficiently in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environmentand handle multiple challenging tasks with ease to meet individualand team performance standards. Utilize strong interpersonal skills to communicate and interactwith customers and Team Members at all levels. Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regularin-person attendance, including limited Saturday hours, is requiredfor this position. A full-time work schedule for this positionincludes, at a minimum, 40-hours per week•. •Store hours, schedules, and/or the minimum number of hoursrequired for this position may be subject to change by brand entityand at the sole discretion of the Company. Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevantleadership experience Minimum one year experience in customer service, sales, orretail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, andother systems Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama) Background check required. All background checks are conducted,and their results are considered, in accordance with applicablelaw. Ability to meet the physical demands of this position, whichfrequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position,the ability to move and transport up to 25 pounds, the ability tomove about inside and outside of the store, and the operation ofmechanical controls, such as a keyboard.
Preferred Qualificationsand Skills Associate degree or higher Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and may be required forcertain locations Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle touse throughout the workday (mileage compensated)
