The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting theStore Manager in the various tasks involved in the overalloperation of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability bydeveloping staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage as well as allaspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence withall Company policies and procedures. The minimum age requirementfor an Assistant Store Manager is 18. The physical demands of thejob require in excess of 8 hours of standing, walking, climbingladders and lifting up to 50 pounds. Prior retail and or managementexperience is required.
