What You’ll Do:

This is aFull-Time Hourly Supervisory Position As a Store Manager, you willlead, coach, and support your team to provide exceptional serviceand guidance to our customers. You’ll oversee the daily operationsof the store, including business performance, product management,and ensuring your team has the tools to succeed. In this key role,you’ll represent the GNC brand by offering expert product knowledgeand promoting our “Live Well” message to customers. Responsible for ensuring products are merchandised according toGNC standards but keeps an eye towards ensuring that products areeasy to see and buy. Responsible for supporting the total shopping experience,including visual and operational elements, current salesinitiatives, and the customer relationship that leads to sales andrepeat business, i.e. MYGNC Rewards. Ability to achieve and exceed personal sales and productivitygoals, while helping sales associates to realize their salespotential. Ability to build strong teams, demonstrate leadership, andmanagerial skills, such as giving feedback to store associatesregarding work performance on an on-going basis, recruiting,hiring, and performance management. Opening, closing and operating the retail facility. Including,but not limited to cash handling, inventory count and depositsaccording to GNC procedures. Attending community fairs, conferences, meetings, and otherpublic gatherings to promote the organization’s mission andinitiatives.

Environmental Factors & Working Schedule:

Must be able to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day. Frequent reaching and bending and twisting – below waist andabove shoulders. Frequently required to use repetitive hand-to-finger motionsand reach with hands and arms. Frequently lifting up to twenty pounds, occasionally lifting upto 40 pounds. Push/pull up to 20 lbs. Ability to climb ladders, reach and bend. Work in temperatures ranging from 50 – 85 degrees – especiallyin our stock room areas. Use of a computer up to 60 % of the time throughout the day.

Stores Managers are expected to work five (5) days / forty (40)hours a week and adhere to the guidelines below: Managers of mall and strip center stores must work at least twonights during the week until closing, one weekend night and oneother night. Strip center managers must also work a full shift onSaturdays. Mall managers are expected to work peak business days includingweekends (Saturday & Sunday). Managers are expected to work a minimum of one full Sunday permonth. Managers of downtown stores must also work during the lunchhour of 11am to 2pm Monday through Friday. Downtown store managersmust also work one night per week until closing if the store isopen in the evening. Managers of downtown stores are not requiredto work Saturdays. Managers are expected to work all major U.S. holidays that thestore is open. To perform this job successfully, an individual mustbe able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
