To supervise and ensure that Lowes Foodsguest service, merchandising programs, and departmental operationis maintained in the produce department.

Responsibilities:

1.Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from theproduce/floral department staff. 2. Achieve budgeted sales andprofits for the produce/floral department. 3. Maintain desiredlevel of inventory and supplies. 4. Operate the departmentaccording to merchandising and operational guidelines and programs.5. Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Lowes Foodsstandards. 6. Maintain sanitation and safety throughout thedepartment according to Lowes Foods standards. 7. Provide guidance,orientation, training and feedback to ensure produce departmenthosts achieve satisfactory performance standards. 8. Performproduct preparation, receiving, conditioning, stocking and guestservice as necessary to achieve standards. 9. Maintain department’slabor budget and scheduling standards. 10. Perform all other dutiesas assigned by management.

Qualifications:

1. Friendly, outgoingpersonality. 2. Ability to work well with others. 3. Ability tolift 50 lbs. regularly and 25 lbs. constantly. 4. Ability to readand understand information and direction. 5. Knowledge of produceoperations. 6. Ability to supervise people including training anddevelopment. 7. Demonstrated ability and willingness to learnmultiple tasks and technical requirements of the job. 8. Effectivecommunication and guest service skills. 9.
