Job Description

Primary Function The Supervisor Cash Operations is responsible for providing guidance and leadership for Cash Operations staff and provide support for Cash Management. The Supervisor will focus on day-to-day deliverables and the on-going improvement of Cash Operations by streamlining processes, responsibilities and create procedure documentation where it doesn’t currently exist.

Principal Duties:

Lead and mentor staff to develop and reinforce skills, improve processes and procedures, and increase overall effectiveness. Track, monitor, and measure employee performance according to department standards. Provide feedback monthly. Schedules and monitors all employee time records. Establish and document policies and procedures that support the company and departmental standards, procedures, and strategic directives. Undertake special projects related to Cash activities and perform other duties as assigned. Daily various tasks and/or duties as assigned by management, such as posting payments, processing payoffs, liquidations, processing returned payments, loan level disbursements, working with Automated Clearing House (ACH). Perform personnel managerial duties such as goal setting and tracking, performance monitoring and coaching, ensuring associate engagement, and other typical managerial duties. Performs related duties as assigned by management. •These essential functions are fundamental to the role, and must be performed on-site, as they cannot physically be performed remotely. In addition, the Company has determined that an in-person presence is important to critical components of our work, including oversight, training, collaboration, and productivity. Items not marked (•) as essential on-site may still require partial on-site work to perform the role satisfactorily. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent, required. 6+ years’ previous Banking, Accounts Payable, or Accounts Receivable experience. Experience with Mortgage Servicing Platform (MSP) or similar mortgage servicing systems is desired. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Current, working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Ability to accurately 10-key by touch with at least 10,000 Keystrokes per Hour (KPH). Available to work as requested and required by business need and communicated by your manager. Understanding of Cash specific mortgage lending and servicing Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to collaborate with team members to achieve results.
