POSITION SUMMARY
Store Managers areresponsible for driving company objectives in profit and losscontrol, sales performance, customer satisfaction, and shrinkresults. Developing and leading a great team while increasing salesand profits of your assigned area will be the most important partof your job. Your hands-on leadership and management expertise willallow our organization to grow. This job is composed of a varietyof tasks that are covered by general operating procedures but willalso require extensive individual judgment to ensure successfuloperation of the store.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive sales and profitability through customersatisfaction Develop and implement payroll plans and monitor daily payrollto ensure the plan is met Display strong merchandise throughout the store and executeplan-o-grams Ensure merchandise is properly priced, displayed, and stockedaccording to inventory levels appropriate for the store Ensure efficient day-to-day operations of the store Supervise, train, and develop subordinate managers and hourlystore personnel in all areas and functions required to run thestore effectively Ensure all employees provide outstanding customer service tosatisfy our customer’s needs Ensure all expenses are maintained within the plannedbudget Be familiar with and enforce all company policies andprocedures Oversee the implementation of special promotions andadvertising events Maintain strong communication between store and all supportdepartments Responsible for all aspects of the P&L including sales,gross margin, payroll, and shrink Ensure the store is in compliance with OSHA requirements andall safety procedures Provide exemplary customer service Oversee store programs through effective delegation andmanagement of work, employees, time, and resources Maintain working knowledge of products and services May operate forklift or industrial truck to assist in loading,unloading, or moving merchandise and materials Safety awareness of anything in store that may be hazard toemployees or customers Promptly handle any customer complaints, questions, or concernsin a professional and friendly manner Additional duties, as assigned
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
3 5 years of retail management experience Flexibility to work any open store hours Proven skills in business analysis, with the ability to executecompany standards successfully Experience producing results, managing and developingemployees, and succeeding in a retail environment Ability to multi-task and coordinate, analyze, observe, makedecisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner Strong communication and leadership skills Highly motivated leader capable of motivating others to achievecompany goals Excellent Customer Service skills Excellent verbal and written communication Must possess strong work ethic and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Ability to: Multi-task, coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, andmeet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner Effectively communicate with customers and employees, in-personand over the phone Demonstrate initiative and effective problem-solving skillswithin the scope of the position Prioritize, accurately multi-task, adhere to deadlines, andlearn in a fast-paced environment.
