The WWRGD team is responsible for the strategic planning, acquisition, design, construction, launch, and maintenance of Amazon Worldwide Grocery Stores’ real estate assets. This includes Whole Foods Market, Amazon Grocery Stores, and Amazon Grocery Logistics. Our Industrial Launch & Execution team is seeking an experienced Program Manager to drive strategic and tactical cross-functional initiatives, change management, and operational excellence across our expanding grocery footprint. In this role, you will exhibit a strong ownership mindset, taking the lead in scoping and creating project plans, developing and standardizing processes, coordinating execution, and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders and teams. You will influence a team comprising Operations, Start-Up, Construction, Real Estate, Design, Engineering, Safety, Maintenance, Loss Prevention, IT, and Food Safety to impact existing building retrofits and new site launches. Key job responsibilities
- Manage complex, cross-functional programs and projects, delivering ambitious goals and driving successful outcomes across multiple organizations (Ownership, Bias for Action)

- Orchestrate cross-team coordination, project/process management, and executive-level communication and presentations (Earn Trust, Deliver Results)

- Partner with other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set priorities and milestones, and drive delivery (Ownership, Bias for Action)

- Influence internal and external stakeholders without formal authority, driving the adoption of new processes and initiatives (Earn Trust, Invent and Simplify)
- Drive operational goals and metrics, supporting the vision of both the Launch team and the larger organization (Think Big, Deliver Results)

The team’s mission is to build a best-in-class development function, eliminating ambiguity and churn throughout the organization. By inventing and simplifying processes, and standardizing best practices, the team enables the real estate, construction, and design teams to focus on their core responsibilities efficiently. Through close collaboration with business partners, the team ensures alignment on goals and prioritization, fostering a cohesive and streamlined approach to project execution. Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teamsPreferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market.
