Full Job Description Retail BOH Supervisor Purpose:

Purpose:

Embraces the Finnleys company culture, enriching a team experience that supports relationships between stores and central support. Demonstrates role leadership behaviors and coaches to warehouse and merchandising processes, procedures, and guidelines. Assists in delivering revenue goals and brand growth. Managing the daily flow of incoming and outgoing inventory in the stockroom of a Women’s Fashion Boutique.

1)

Warehouse Operations:

a) Partner with Director of Operations and Merchandising team to set and execute daily priorities. b) Ensure warehouse is neat, clean and organized. c) Monitor and perform warehouse processes which include: i) Unload and process the daily arrival of inventory. ii) Review purchase orders, invoices and shipments for accuracy and receive into POS system. iii) Check merchandise for damages/defects and accuracy. iv) Process merchandise to be “sales floor-ready” (i.e., unwrap, remove vendor tag, attach Finnleys tag, and sort into bins/racks). d) Plan, schedule and execute transfer inventory between store locations. e) Assist in leading physical inventories and regular spot checks to reduce shrink. 2)

Merchandising Operations:

a) Perform data entry needs for all categories in division including, but not limited to SKU set up, PO/Receipt entry/maintenance, and overall data accuracy. b) Make any revisions on purchase orders or canceling of purchase orders and notify vendor of changes based on direction from the buyer. c) Maintain photo database for all SKUs. d) Manage samples ensuring they are properly tagged and organized. e) Track all shipments and estimated times of arrival notifying Buyer of any late shipments. 3)

Management:

a) Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned. 4) Willing to be flexible in covering retail sales floor when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Technology savvy and comfortable learning new systems (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Heartland Retail, Humanity). 6+ months in a similar role, keyholder responsibilities preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work a flexible daytime schedule. Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and able to switch priorities quickly. Attention to detail Willingness to work as part of a team and support multiple departments. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Responsible, dependable and honest. Capacity for lifting up to 50 lbs., while standing, bending and/or twisting.
