Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily store operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory management
- Train and supervise store staff, ensuring they provide excellent customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability
- Monitor and analyze sales trends, adjusting strategies as needed
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in cash register transactions
- Conduct regular inventory counts and coordinate with suppliers for restocking
- Create and implement effective marketing and promotional campaigns
- Collaborate with the assistant manager to schedule staff shifts and manage employee performance
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a store manager or assistant manager in a retail setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in retail math, including calculating discounts, profit margins, and sales figures
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, and training new employees
