Our boutique pet retail stores provide high-quality pet food, treats, supplements, and wellness products, as well as premium bathing services. We take pride in educating pet parents and delivering exceptional customer service. Since opening our flagship store in 2023, we’ve continued to grow with a focus on curated, holistic pet care. Position Overview As the Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading all aspects of our retail operations, driving sales, building an engaged team, providing an exceptional customer experience, and overseeing inventory, merchandising, and store performance. You’ll be both a leader and a hands-on contributor in a high-energy, pet-friendly environment. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Culture Hire, train, schedule, and coach a high-performing team Foster a positive, service-oriented work environment Conduct performance evaluations and support ongoing development and retention Lead daily store operations, opening/closing procedures, and safe cash handling Customer Experience Ensure each customer receives a personalized, enthusiastic welcome and guided support using the W.A.G.S.

W elcome the customer A id in navigating the store and services G ather information about their pet’s needs S erve them with the right product or service Handle and resolve customer concerns to ensure a positive experience Create a welcoming, clean, and organized store environment Sales & Marketing Drive top-line sales and profitability through customer engagement and upselling Work with the marketing team to execute promotions, events, and local outreach Gather in-store photos, videos, and stories to support social media and marketing efforts Execute merchandising initiatives to highlight key brands and seasonal trends Work with sales reps to negotiate special pricing and promotions Maintain discounts and frequent buyer programs Operations & Compliance Oversee inventory management, ordering, receiving, and shrink control Maintain cash register and vault accuracy, and ensure daily bank deposits are completed Monitor payroll, scheduling, and expense controls Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and loss prevention standards What We’re Looking For 3+ years of retail leadership experience (pet retail a plus!) Strong background in sales, scheduling, inventory, and team management Passion for pets, people, and exceptional customer service Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to lift 50 lbs, be on your feet during shifts, and handle live animals Must be 18+ with valid driver’s license High school diploma or equivalent required Perks & Benefits Competitive salary with performance-based incentives Paid time off and holidays Employee discounts on products and services
