As the store manager, you will be responsible for motivating the sales team to fulfill sales goals and metrics, developing business strategies, and upholding the operational and organizational standards. Store managers will drive customer relations, key sales growth, build relationships with customers, train new staff, monitor and maintain inventory levels. The right candidate will be an excellent communicator and demonstrate impeccable leadership skills.
Sales Manager and Store Manager Duties:
Lead retail store and business sales activities in order to achieve sales and profit goals. Positively contribute to growth and development of team through training .communication, recognition and support. Managing recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales team members. Sales Leadership Functions promote programs and sales promotions including demonstrate “how to”, and ensure they are taught and executed. Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team. Provide service and follow-up to customers at acceptable service levels. Develop and supervise Store team members. Provide training, coaching, development and recognition. Perform timely evaluations and implement performance reviews and expectations. Develop team for future roles. Demonstrate, train and enforce all safety rules and regulations and company policies. Sales Manager Qualifications Minimum H.S. diploma/equivalent; Advanced degree in business or retail management a plus. Minimum 3-5 years of retail management experience, preferably within a retail setting. Experience in dealing with other businesses including sales and service of business accounts. Strong oral and written communication skills Able to effectively manage confrontational situations in a controlled and courteous manner. Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks and meet deadlines. Strong technical aptitude; a basic understanding of electronics. Must have the ability to accurately work with hands. Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business including peak seasons and special events.
