Tire Shop Manager Lincoln Bedford Moore Farmers Co-op 1205 Winchester Highway, Fayetteville, TN 37334 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Shop Manager to oversee daily operations at our automotive service center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role involves ensuring high-quality service delivery while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily shop operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Manage a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. Oversee vehicle maintenance and repair processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards. Conduct regular inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety. Assist with heavy lifting and the use of hand tools and power tools during service tasks. Maintain inventory levels for parts and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Implement shop policies and procedures to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, fostering positive relationships. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the shop. Requirements Proven experience in automotive repair or maintenance, with strong mechanical knowledge. Familiarity with tire service, alignment, and general vehicle maintenance practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Previous experience as a service technician or mechanic is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
