TN Assistant Manager 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars 100 Music Road, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863 Colorvision International is seeking Assistant Managers to join a fun and dynamic work environment where ” Fun is a Serious Business! ” This full-time role (minimum 36 hours per week ) reports to the Store Manager by developing employees, fostering teamwork, and ensuring smooth store operations. The Assistant Manager helps create a positive and engaging atmosphere while leading by example.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Service

• Assist customers with product selection, process transactions, resolve issues, and maintain high service standards. Picture-Taking & Processing
• Capture and process photos using company techniques and equipment. Staff Management
• Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate employees (supervising 10+ sales associates ). Training & Development
• Ensure staff is well-trained in sales techniques, cash handling, equipment use, and store procedures. Operations & Inventory
• Maintain store cleanliness, enforce safety protocols, oversee inventory, and ensure equipment is functional. Payroll & Administrative Duties
• Process payroll, track employee bonuses, and report changes to HR. Other Duties
• Support store needs by filling in for the manager or crew as necessary.

Work Conditions

• Can be in a small, noisy, or temperature-controlled indoor space or an outdoor setting with varying weather conditions. Physical Demands
• Requires extended standing/walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, reaching, and operating photography equipment. Mental Skills
• Must have strong people skills, an enthusiastic approach, good judgment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with diverse customers. Equipment Used
• Includes a camera, cash register, computer, heat press, credit card machine, and cleaning tools .

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; some college and/or training in motivation and management helpful .

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year as an experienced as a sales associate with Colorvision International, Inc. or equivalent experience in other retail management position .

Certification/Licensure:

none Special skills: outgoing, friendly personality; able to lead, guide and motivate employees; strong interpersonal skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; conflict resolution skills; willing to learn; understanding of sales and payroll ratios; money-handling skills; computer skills; able to provide own transportation to fulfill requirements of the job, honesty and integrity, ability to work as a team with co-workers. Other requirements : Requires a minimum of 36 hours per week. Able to work flexible hours as needed, including but not limited to covering other employee’s shifts when they call out, and successfully passing a background check.

Environmental Demands:

Work is performed in small, confined space. Indoor stores are in temperature-controlled environments that are frequently noisy. Outdoor stores are subject to extremes of heat, cold, humidity and noise.

Physical Requirements:

This job requires standing & walking for long periods of time, frequently walking up and down steps, reaching, bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, lifting items up to 50 pounds with assistance, manual dexterity, carrying a camera with an attached strap worn around neck weighing approx. two (2) pounds, hearing and speaking understandably and ability to project voice over a crowd.

Mental Requirements:

This job requires a positive, enthusiastic approach, good judgment, ability to entice guests to get their picture taken, ability to work under stress, ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, reading, performing simple math functions, hearing and speaking understandably. It also requires the ability to cooperate and work as a team with co-workers.
