In this role, you will support the daily operations of our retail environment, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient management of staff. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily store operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Lead employee orientation and training programs to foster a knowledgeable and motivated team. Oversee sales management activities, driving sales performance through effective strategies. Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement promotional strategies that enhance customer engagement. Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms for purchasing products. Ensure shift management is conducted smoothly, including scheduling staff and addressing any operational issues that arise. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and fostering a welcoming environment. Experience Proven experience in retail management or a similar role is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with sales management techniques and inventory control practices is advantageous. May require the ability to move to different locations within the company’s network based on operational needs and career growth.

Physical Demands:

Requires prolonged standing approximately five to 14 hours per day. During peak sale periods (e.g. Holiday, Back-to-School), will work for long periods throughout a one to 12 hour day. Requires stooping and kneeling to place merchandise on customer’s feet as well as reaching and pulling to obtain or stock merchandise on storage racks. May be required to climb ladder or ascend/descend stairs in order to stock and/or acquire merchandise for sale. Required to lift items weighing 5-25 lbs regularly. In certain circumstances, weights may be higher. Must have good vision, including color differentiation. The work environment for this position is a moderately noisy retail setting.

Qualifications:
Experience:

Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar role, with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.

Leadership Skills:

Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Customer-Centric:

A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.

Analytical Skills:

Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.

Assistant Store Manager:

Open availability, including availability during the hours necessary to open and close the store, which includes mornings, days, and nights. Minimum standard work week of 5 days. Average standard work week of 44 hours but increased during peak sales periods (e.g. Holiday, Back-to-School).
