Fragrance Counter Manager Dillard’s Oak Court Mall 4433 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38117 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Counter Manager to oversee daily operations at our beauty counter. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in beauty cosmetics sales and demonstrate exceptional time management and communication skills. As a Counter Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales through effective product promotion and inventory management. Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the beauty counter, ensuring a high standard of customer service. Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction. Utilize salon software for scheduling appointments, managing inventory, and tracking sales performance. Conduct makeup applications and provide beauty consultations to customers. Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register and maintain proper cash handling procedures. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products. Monitor stock levels, place orders for new inventory, and ensure the counter is well-stocked at all times. Train new staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices. Requirements Proven experience in beauty cosmetics sales or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with salon software systems is a plus. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and team members. Experience in cash handling and operating a cash register. Basic knowledge of makeup application techniques and cosmetology principles is desirable. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
