MAC Counter Manager Dillard’s Oak Court Mall 4433 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38117 Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Counter Manager to oversee the daily operations of our beauty counter. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for beauty and cosmetics, along with strong leadership skills to drive sales and customer satisfaction. This role requires a blend of retail expertise, time management, and exceptional customer service to create an engaging shopping experience for our clients. Duties Manage daily operations of the beauty counter, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers. Utilize salon software to maintain accurate inventory levels and manage stock effectively. Drive sales through effective product knowledge, makeup application techniques, and personalized customer service. Train and mentor team members on retail sales strategies and best practices in beauty cosmetics sales. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced cash register. Oversee counter operations, including scheduling appointments Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall performance. Monitor product displays and merchandising to ensure they are appealing and aligned with brand standards. Requirements Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within the beauty or cosmetics industry. Strong understanding of makeup application techniques and beauty products. Familiarity with salon software for inventory management is a plus. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with customers and team members. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred but not required.
