Customer Service, Sales Support and Front Desk Admin Support Frog Song Organics, LLC Hawthorne, FL 32640 Compensation for training (first 10 work days) $15/hr Compensation after training: $15.00

  • $18.00/hr Approximately 35-40hrs/week // proposed 5 days per week on-site for this position The Farm is Open Monday
  • Saturday with seasonal variation 7:30 am

  • This role is intended to expand into direct sales and promotions aimed at achieving sales performance goals while mainly supporting the administrative needs of the office at first.

It will require self initiative by working independently on sales goals and metrics developed with management. Administrative Available to be on site Monday-Friday start time (variable during the season) until daily tasks are complete. Attend Morning Meetings. Be able to answer phone and emails and provide professional and friendly customer phone service Notify appropriate staff when vendors, visitors, or customers arrive at farm Do research, errands or other tasks to support business owners and managers with special projects Assist with filing, physical organization and shared cleanliness of office and shared spaces. Utilize our computer programs to support the sales, administrative, and distribution side of the business Provide courteous and professional customer service as needed regarding invoices and orders Review our general email in box and respond or forward as appropriate. Help develop systems to streamline our customer service and email Assist with occasional on-farm events on weekends or evenings (2-3 times per year) Participate in at least two of our farmers markets. To have an understanding of the entire operation as part of on-boarding and training. Support special projects on the farm on coordination with leads and managers if needed

Sales & Customer Service Goals:

Provide excellent customer service and sales support through emails and phone calls Help farm-gate customers load orders and put orders out at the gate. Help with social media campaigns and translating followers into customers Help develop promotions and codes to use through our email list to measure engagement and see what types of promotions work to achieve sales goals Coordinate and help with special projects and events on the farm (occasional weekend and evenings required, scheduled in advance) Maintain CSA membership and Build CSA Membership

  • may require in person tabling, travel to potential pick up sites, and in person promotion Develop more customers and orders on existing delivery routes in Gainesville, Orlando, etc. to infill for more efficient routes Customer created content
  • “Share your Share” have CSA members submit unboxing videos to share online and then they get a t-shirt or store credit Help develop Sales and Promotional campaigns and special sales projects, including exploring a rewards/loyalty program Follow up with new LFM accounts as sales leads
  • develop a “welcome” program Participate in farmers markets at all locations in rotation with other staff to meet customers and learn our different market regions
  • requires some evening and weekend work Set up new accounts for retail and wholesale customers in LFM Updating LFM orders for wholesale, CSA, and Specials customers to accurately reflect shorts and other variances
REQUIREMENTS

Interest in learning about organic farming and sustainable agriculture, including making a positive impact on environmental and social issues. Ability to work successfully with people from diverse backgrounds. Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred. Experience with handling cash and personal information in a careful and secure manner. Demonstrated ability to advance, learn new skills, and take on additional responsibilities at previous jobs including the ability (and desire) to stick with a job for more than a year. Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S. Ability to be present at work consistently, on time, to start each day. Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. Self-motivated, ability to work both with and without direct supervision. Ability to communicate effectively, courteously, and professionally with all staff and customers: in person, on the phone, and in writing. This includes friendly and professional phone etiquette. Ability to represent the business in a professional and positive manner. Experience with Quickbooks, Google Docs, Gmail, and internet/computer literacy. Able to touch type minimum of 50 wpm. Able to create efficient digital workflows, consistently use formulas in spreadsheets, and avoid inefficient practices (like leaving too many tabs in one view). Detail-oriented, self-motivated, be able to manage multiple small projects simultaneously Able to climb stairs (office is upstairs) and lift up to 40 lbs for receiving packages and assisting customers. The programs we use are Routific, Local Food Marketplace, Google Sheets, Canva, and various other design and advertising programs. Applicants must have experience with these or similar programs or be able to quickly learn how to navigate them confidently.
