Sales Assistant Position Available In Buncombe, North Carolina

An established North Asheville company is looking for a detailed, friendly, fast-paced Sales Assistant to support their offices and their customers. If you have a passion for helping people and working with an incredible team, this job could be for you! Job duties included but are not limited to: Answer and respond to incoming phone calls and customers. Source new sales opportunities through walk-in customers. Help support with home buyers process – pick out colors, cabinets, flooring, etc. Entering and/or updating customer files. Perform data entry, typing, or filing. Perform a variety of clerical duties and other duties pertinent to the establishment. Possess excellent communication and grammar skills as well as a pleasant speaking voice.

Qualified candidates will have experience:

Entering, reviewing, and processing paperwork Greeting and working with customers Providing support to customers Working in a construction environment Listening and directing customers Microsoft Office Suite Preference given to candidates with prior construction experience and Microsoft proficiency. Schedule is 40 hours a week Monday-Saturday 9am to 6pm. $20/hr+ plus commission/bonuses and benefits once hired on permanently. Working Saturdays – at least 3 a month is required.
