JOB DESCRIPTION

The Administrative Sales Support Specialist is a key function that links together the field sales team with administrative resources. The primary responsibility of the Administrative Sales Support Specialist is to enable sales professionals to spend more time in front of current and prospective clients. We do this by working with the sales team on pre-sales needs, converting quotes to orders and agreements and helping resolve client issues. It is crucial to ensure that our sales team and client/prospective client needs are responded to and resolved timely and completely.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

General requests enabling sales professionals to spend their time on/with clients and prospects. Never answer a question or a request without providing a detailed why. Always respond to requests on the same day and follow up daily or scheduled. Lease approvals, upgrade quotes, and other pre-sales needs of the sales professional. Serve as the expert liaison between sales and pricing for special pricing requests. Understand and coach sales professionals on required agreement paperwork for all Usherwood offerings leading to more productive sales time and increased client/prospect satisfaction. Initial review of new client agreements within 2 business days of submission. Work with sales professionals/clients post agreement submission to correct issues with new agreements. Primary responsible party for a client transaction from submission to delivery/project completion.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Strong communication and relationship building skills required. Track record of efficiency and an ability to prioritize. Ability to balance the needs of a dynamic sales team between requests, orders and client issues. Related sales support experience a plus.
