Job Location:

Suffolk County – Long Island) This is a full time position within a school district as a technical assistant. The ideal candidate is someone who is looking for an entry level job where they can assist people with technology related items. People skills are a must. The position will require the candidate to act as first responder in a school to either assist or enter a support ticket for the desktop support team. Tasks like inventory, minor configuration, paper jams, toner, and unboxing new equipment will be part of the job. The biggest part of the job is acting as a liaison between staff and IT support. Inventory and customer service skills a plus.

Responsibilities:

Enter tickets and track them Follow up and communicate with staff Unbox and inventory technical equipment Assist in computer and peripheral equipment setup Assist with chromebooks Ability to escalate as needed to a technician Handling multiple tasks simultaneously

• Position will require finger printing and background check •
