Sales Assistant Position Available In Spartanburg, South Carolina

Description We are seeking a Sales Assistant for our manufacturing team located in Wellford, South Carolina. As a Sales Assistant, you will be tasked with maintaining customer relationships, managing and processing orders, and utilizing various software tools to ensure smooth transactions and customer satisfaction. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in effective communication with existing customers, maintaining and enhancing relationships
• Utilize CRM software to manage and track customer interactions and order history
• Process and manage customer orders, providing information on lead times when necessary
• Reach out to customers who have not placed recent orders, to maintain contact and encourage continued business
• Use ADP – Financial Services and Concur software for financial transactions and data processing
• Handle cash activity and cash handling processes with accuracy
• Leverage Crystal Reports for data analysis and reporting
• Respond to customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Use ‘About Time’ software for efficient time tracking and management
• Understand and navigate buying processes to assist customers with their purchasing decisions
• Answer inbound calls, providing excellent customer service and addressing customer needs. Requirements
• Proficiency in ADP – Financial Services is essential
• Demonstrated experience with Concur software
• Proficient in using CRM systems
• Knowledge of Crystal Reports is required
• Ability to perform Data Processing tasks efficiently
• Familiarity with About Time software is preferred
• Experience in Answering Inbound Calls is necessary
• Understanding of Buying Processes within the Manufacturing industry
• Previous experience with Cash Activity management
