Sales Engineer
A well-established manufacturer is searching for a Sales Engineer to join their team! A leader in fabrication of custom industrial solutions for over 50 years. Great benefits and a fantastic work environment with long-term growth opportunities.
Sales Engineer Responsibilities:
Meets with clients about potential projects in industrial settings
Assess client needs from equipment and building drawings and specifications
Evaluate clients needs in all aspects of the sell from configuration, assessing loads, and selecting components
Identify and control installation labor costs as well as other costs which support project pricing
Ability to capture key performance rates and dimensions relevant to clients’ needs
Entrepreneurial mindset to create and generate leads
Ability to work with full PPE to include at minimum safety glasses, helmet, visibility vest and safety-toed boots.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related fields is required.
3-5 years’ experience in Sales/Application Engineering
Excellent time management, problem prevention and solving skills
3D modeling Software knowledge preferred
Experience in P&L Management as well as creating contracts
Experience contracting or plant management is preferred
