What You’ll Do
As a Sales Engineer, you’ll serve as a key technical and sales liaison between Coilmaster and our customers. You’ll manage both inside and outside sales efforts, working directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions tailored to their mechanical systems.
Your focus will include:
Acting as a technical expert and trusted advisor for customer applications
Managing the full sales cycle including prospecting, quoting, closing, and account management
Conducting on-site customer visits to assess needs and recommend solutions
Partnering with engineering and production teams to ensure alignment and feasibility
Preparing technical presentations, quotes, proposals, and contracts
Staying informed on industry trends and attending trade shows as needed
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
3 to 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in HVAC, hydronics, or metals industries
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret technical drawings and specs
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical info into customer-friendly language
Comfort with travel, typically 25% to 50%
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
A self-starter mindset with strong time management skills
Preferred:
Background in HVAC components or hydronic system design
Field engineering experience is a plus
