Job Description:

We design and manufacture microprocessor based controllers forthe hostile environment of the HVAC/R industry. Our product linealso includes refrigeration compressors, temperature, pressure,humidity and current sensors, as well as custom support software.

We operate in a dynamic, fast-paced and customer-focusedenvironment where responsiveness and technical sales support iscritical to success of the company. The Sales Engineer willfacilitate the growth of the company by supporting theSales/Account Management Team through the following activities:

Core Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales Managers toplan, prepare and execute on strategic account projects
• Prepareand send quotations, close sales, and achieve sales quotas
• Develop sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up andoutbound calls and emails, researching and identifying potentialaccounts, soliciting new accounts, and building rapport
• Providetechnical information and explanations, understanding customerneeds and requirements
• Maintain accurate records of targetaccounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts andcorrespondence in company approved databases
• Listen to,understand and convey customer requirements to NPD and Tech Supportareas
• Fill orders by transferring orders to Order Entry,communicating expected delivery dates
• Maintain customer databasewith up-to-date information and contacts
• Assist toestablish/streamline policies and procedures throughout thedepartment, support best practices in sales forecasting, reporting,and communications
• Resolve customer issues or difficulties in amanner that is consistent with the company mission, values, andfinancial objectives
• Travel to project and customer sites asneeded
• Other duties as assigned by supervisorQualifications/Competencies
• BA/BS in Engineering (Mechanical,Electrical, Controls), Technical Field, or combination ofsuccessful related education and experience in a similar technicalindustry role
• Read architectural, mechanical and electricalblueprints and have solid understanding of basic electrical andmechanical systems
• Prioritize, organize and perform multiple workassignments simultaneously
• Perform accurately in a detailoriented environment
• Excellent systems skills including Excel,Outlook, Word
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships
