What You Will Be Doing
As a Field Sales Support Systems Engineer Staff supporting Air Mobility & Maritime Missions (AMMM), you will lead integrated support efforts for legacy platforms such as the C-130, C-5, LM-100J, and P-3. This high-impact role serves as the central coordination point for planning, executing, and improving supply chain operations related to spares, repairs, third-party logistics (3PL), and customer fulfillment. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to ensure program deliverables are met with precision and timeliness. Your contributions will directly support operational readiness and sustainment for domestic and international customers.
This position requires a strong understanding of logistics, program integration, and enterprise resource planning systems (e.g., SAP). You will also lead initiatives to streamline processes, improve metric reporting, support proposal and project management tasks, and coordinate liance documentation for export-controlled material. With occasional international travel, you will engage directly with key stakeholders and customers, enhancing collaboration and driving program success from a global perspective.
Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison for Supply Operations & Logistics (SO&L) support across AMMM platforms, including C-130, C-5, LM-100J, and P-3.
• Lead efforts to streamline and mature processes related to spares, repairs, third-party logistics (3PL), and performance metrics.
• Monitor and ensure liance with contractual requirements by providing real-time status updates via ordering and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Coordinate and interface regularly with 3PL providers to support timely and efficient logistics execution.
• Manage procurement, manufacturing, and repair activities to ensure accurate and on-time delivery of aircraft spares and repaired onents.
• Support proposal development, cost estimating, and project management functions in collaboration with finance and contracts teams.
• Develop and deliver training materials to improve internal understanding of spares and repair processes.
• Track and report requisitions, order statuses, and repair actions in support of internal planning and customer visibility.
• Generate and present logistics status updates to key stakeholders and external customers.
• Collaborate across functions—Supply Chain, Contracts, ERP, Production Control, and Quality Assurance—to address program-specific challenges and requirements.
• Coordinate export liance documentation to support international transactions in alignment with U.S. trade regulations.
• Travel internationally as required to support program execution and customer engagement.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $99,700

• $175,835.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
