We’re now looking for folks to join us in our New York office andwork on a hybrid basis. About the role We are looking for a SalesEngineer who will bridge the gap between our product and ourcustomers. You’ll be the go-to technical expert, helping prospectssee how Conduktor can solve their problems. You’ll work closelywith our Sales team, translating tech-speak into real-world valueand ensuring that our solutions make an impact. What will you bedoing? Collaborating closely with our sales team to demonstrate andcommunicate the value of Conduktor throughout the sales cycle, fromdemo to proof of concept to design and implementation Diving intoclient challenges to recommend how our platform can improve theirdata streaming processes Participating in sales meetings andpresentations, and providing training to our sales team on thetechnical aspects of our products or services. Staying up to datewith new opportunities, industry developments and competitive andcomplementary technologies; using this knowledge to identify howConduktor’s products or services can meet customer needs, and toprovide input on product strategy to our technical teams Assistingin technical onboarding and providing support during the trialphases Creating technical content (presentations, documentation,etc.) that shows off the value of our platform. What experience arewe looking for? You have 4 years of industry experience selling ata B2B SaaS company, with a product targeted towards developers,ideally in the Apache Kafka space You know your MEDDIC You haveexperience selling in the US closing deals with enterprise accountsYou have excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonalcommunication skills. Being equally comfortable interacting withexecutives and talking shop with technical audiences, you are verycapable of selling in both a business and technical context You canbuild strong operational and collaborative relationships withpeople in distributed teams and locations You have a solidunderstanding of streaming or messaging systems like Apache Kafka,Pulsar, Rabbit MQ, JMS, as well as Linux operating systems andbasic principles You have the ability to qualify and executeproof-of-values, (success criteria – documentation), activities,and customer success engagement Nice to have You’ve previouslyworked in a Series A or early-stage start-up You’ve worked withpartners – Hyperscalers (AWS, MSFT, Google), other IndependentSoftware Vendors (ISVs) and Regional System Integrators (RSI) Perks& Benefits Stock options 25 days PTO public holidays 401ktraditional plan (employee contribution only) Top-tier privatehealth insurance package Employee referral scheme Company-wideevents and team socials Equal Opportunity Statement Fostering aninclusive environment is vital to us, and we want to bring onboardpeople who share our values.
