Job Description
We are looking for experienced Principal-level pre-sales SaaS Solution Engineers with proven success in messaging, positioning with value, and demonstrating solutions across Projects and Financials, within the Professional and Business Services industry.
As an acknowledged authority within Oracle, this Principal Solution Engineer (SE) has a breadth of knowledge and understanding of solutions, project-centric industry leading practices, connected business processes, and impact on business value. The SE collaborates with our SaaS Sales team to design innovative, modern, value-driven presentations and demonstrations that compel our customers and prospects to take action.
Those who excel in this role are motivated self-starters who love to solve challenging problems, feel comfortable working directly with customers, have an insatiable curiosity about what is possible with cloud technology, and can effectively articulate and demonstrate this to customers.

Responsibilities:

• Understand, identify, and document client requirements, conduct business and technical studies.
• Provide pre-sales technical and functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Develop and deliver high-quality, effective Oracle presentations and demonstrations.
• Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction, and overall Oracle solutions.
• Support sales team in online and in-person selling efforts with minimal supervision.
• Lead deal team individual contributors and be a great team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.

Skills:

• Work is non-routine and complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in the area of specialization.
• 5+ years SaaS solution provider experience in a selling/marketing capacity (pre-sales preferred)
• 8+ years business experience with relevant application solutions (e.g., solutions such as Oracle Cloud for Projects, ERP, etc.)
• Thorough knowledge of system and application design
• Knowledge of competitors
• Demonstrated project management and leadership skills
• able to manage deal pursuit teams, complex cycles.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning/messaging, business value and justification, compelling/closing techniques.
• Ability to effectively persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication.
• Travel as needed, approx. 40%
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Accounting/Finance or similar degree or advanced degree desirable.

Industry certifications (e.g., PMI, etc.) desirable.
Responsibilities
As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

Hiring Range in USD from $45.43 to $85.63 per hour; from: $94,500 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35
