Job Description We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical expert and trusted advisor, driving sales efforts by understanding customer needs and providing solutions. You will collaborate with sales teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to design and deliver cutting-edge infrastructure, networking, and storage solutions that optimize performance, reliability, and scalability. Responsibilities Collaborate with the sales team to develop and present tailored technical solutions that address client challenges and objectives. Assess client requirements to design ceiling products. Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and workshops for customers and prospects. Create detailed proposals, quotes, and bill of materials (BOM) for data center projects. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a technical advisor throughout the sales and project management. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge and competitive. Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions. Essential Skills Bachelor’s degree in Engineering 5 years of experience in sales engineering selling a technical product Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to simplify and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Understanding of data center infrastructure, virtualization, storage, networking, and cloud computing technologies preferred but not required Additional Skills & Qualifications Sales support experience Technical skills in design Strong relationship management skills Work Environment This role will be based in an office setting, with 20-25% travel to clients and suppliers in the US, Canada, and overseas.
