JOB SUMMARY
for
Thomasville:
Provide knowledgeable assistance to customers to sell appliances, electronics and product protection plans at APC Appliance Centers. This includes attractive merchandising, accurate inventory control, and accurate and timely completion of financing and sales related documents. This position offers an excellent opportunity to earn monthly performance-based bonuses.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated sales success
- Good communications skills; ability to speak Spanish highly desirable
- Demonstrated creativity in merchandising and sales prospecting
- Team Player
- Ability to work with all employees including those in other departments to ensure customer satisfaction with products/services
- Knowledge of computer systems such as MS Word and CSS desirable
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sell major appliances, electronics, furniture and home goods
- Complete sales, financing and inventory control processes and paperwork
- Maintain inventory to insure accuracy
- Maintaining inventory
- Arrange for timely delivery to customers
- Maintain creative and attractive display areas/sales floor to enhance sales potential
- Meeting customers at cross dock/warehouse for customer pickups
- Assist with loading/unloading appliances
- Review cross dock merchandise to ensure merchandise is shipped or returned to the correct location
- Daily review of the cross dock facility to ensure it is clear of trash
- Coordinate with delivery contractor to ensure cross dock is clean and merchandise is delivered to stores and customers
- Coordinate all aspects of special sale events (Tent Sales, Sidewalk Sales, etc..)
- Create and execute new sales initiatives to attract additional customers
- Meet or exceed assigned sales.
