FULL-TIME CUSTOM WINDOW COVERING DESIGN CONSULTANT

You will play a key role in guiding customers through the selection process of custom window treatments. Your expertise in design and sales will help clients find solutions that match their aesthetic preferences, functional needs, and budget. This role blends creativity with business acumen to maximize sales opportunities while delivering a superior customer experience.

REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualifications & Skills:

Experience with lead generation and sales cycles. Proven experience in interior design, home decor, or window treatment sales preferred. Strong understanding of fabric, textures, colors, and functional aspects of window coverings. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to measure with accuracy and document details precisely. Physically able to lift up to 20 pounds (sample books) and climb a step ladder (measuring). Clean driving record for in-territory business (day) travel. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Consult with clients to assess their needs, style preferences, and budget constraints. Provide expert design recommendations on shutters, draperies, shades, blinds, exterior applications, and home automation. Conduct in-home consultations and showroom presentations to showcase product options. Prepare accurate measurements and quotes for custom window treatments. Build strong relationships with customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, materials, and innovative window treatment solutions. Maintain and grow a portfolio of clients and referral partners through networking and follow-ups. Collaborate with installation teams to ensure seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of orders and sales cycle activities.
