POSITION SUMMARY

The LakeScape Landscape Sales Representative is responsible for driving profitable business growth by converting qualified leads into closed contracts. This role is the direct link between our clients’ vision and our team’s execution. Sales Reps will own the entire customer acquisition process—from prospecting to proposal to closing—and maintain strong client relationships throughout. Top performers are growth-minded, resilient, excellent communicators, and relentlessly focused on results. Pay is base salary plus commissions. This role includes selling both landscape and electrical services. LakeScape’s electrical division provides residential and commercial electrical installations and service upgrades. Sales reps will be trained to qualify and offer solutions that span across both verticals.

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS

To grow LakeScape Landscape & Electric’s top-line revenue by:

  • Generating and qualifying leads
  • Selling profitable landscape and electrical projects
  • Building sustainable, long-term client relationships
  • Supporting production and install teams with clear communication and handoffs
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
  • Review new leads daily, respond quickly, and book consultations
  • Prospect new opportunities (calls, referrals, walk-ins, networking)
  • Meet clients on-site or virtually to identify needs and build trust
  • Create or collaborate on estimates using LMN, HubSpot, or internal systems
  • Present, explain, and sell proposals across landscape and electrical services
  • Handle objections, negotiate, and close deals
  • Collect signed agreements and deposits
  • Ensure all customer data, job details, and notes are logged in CRM
  • Conduct handoffs to production team and attend kickoff meetings as needed
  • Follow up on in-progress jobs and maintain post-sale relationships
  • Upsell enhancements and seasonal or system upgrades as appropriate
  • Participate in sales training, team meetings, and performance reviews
KEY COMPETENCIES
  • Strong communication skills (verbal/written – English and/or )
  • Working knowledge of landscaping, irrigation, electrical, or construction services
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM, estimating tools
  • Professional, ethical, and reliable
  • Competitive, team-oriented mindset
  • Strong follow-up habits and task management
  • Able to work independently and solve problems in real time
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (required)
  • 1+ years experience in landscape, electrical, or construction sales (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or Business (a plus)
  • Valid driver’s license required
