  • -We are seekinga performance-driven Hospital Sales Specialist who is passionateabout making a difference in healthcare.

This role is responsiblefor managing all aspects of territory business development,cultivating relationships within key hospital accounts, and drivingeducation and awareness around a critical treatment portfolio toHealth Care Professionals (HCP), hospitaldecision-makers/influencers, pharmacy, infusion suites, and C-Suitestakeholders.

  • -This position requires strong clinical and diseasestate knowledge and the ability to understand the complexities ofthe U.

S. hospital market to facilitate the development of newaccounts while supporting the growth of existing accounts. The rolealso includes active collaboration with Regional Sales Manager andstakeholders such as marketing, medical affairs, healthcaresystems, and operations to ensure alignment on integrated strategicplans. Hospital Sales Specialists will be expected to supportappropriate patient education programs as needed.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Develop new accounts and the growth of existing accountsthrough solid customer relationships, communication of technicalproduct and disease state information, and effective territorymanagement skills.
  • Implement key marketing programs to increase the market shareof key promoted products.
  • Implement CSL Behring’s patient-focused hospital selling modelwith effective opening, probing, listening, and closing skills oncustomer calls.
  • Maintain proper call frequency with assigned targets and updateas needed to ensure time is aligned with a current product focus
  • Develop and implement territory business plans consistent withcorporate direction designed to achieve/exceed territory salestargets. Appropriate knowledge of product features and benefits,competitive products and programs and distribution channels.
  • Use appropriate resources to create a compelling and logicalrationale for the value of promoted products during informeddiscussions with customers, knowing how to compare, contrast, andposition CSL Behring’s brand(s) versus competitor products.
  • Review and evaluate patterns for products purchased andprescribed (outpatient vs in-patient infusion, as part of hospitalcontract, etc.).
  • Comprehend complex account interdependencies to proactivelydevelop and execute short
  • and long-term account plans incollaboration with the account team and supervisor.
  • Ensure a consistent customer experience by effectivelycommunicating and collaborating with Associate Sales Director,Hospital Accounts, Corporate Account Managers, Field ReimbursementManagers, Medical Science Liaison, and more.
  • Outstanding in all competency areas (Account Management;External Market Focus; 1:1 Customer Interactions, ClinicalExpertise, Business Acumen)
Key Job Specifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business or lifesciences
  • 5+ years’ hospital/institutional sales experience required fromrelevant roles within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrated history of documented achievement of salesperformance
  • Experience with patient groups, hospital pharmacies, anddistributors is a plus
  • Ability to demonstrate effective management of a largegeography
