We’re on the lookout for a high energy Inside Sales Representative to join our team! This role is for our maintenance of way division where we are a leading supplier of high-performance rail infrastructure products, specializing in track components and crane rail systems. Known for our industry expertise and commitment to customer satisfaction, we support a wide range of clients across freight, industrial, and transit sectors. The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in supporting our customers and driving sales from initial inquiry through to order fulfillment. This position serves as a primary point of contact for customers, providing timely quotes, order management, and exceptional service. The role requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage sales quotes, process orders, and generate reports using SAP. Utilize CRM tools to maintain sales records, track interactions, and support sales reporting. Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email, delivering prompt, professional service. Follow up on quotes in a timely, organized manner to support closing opportunities and meeting sales targets. Oversee the full order cycle—from quoting to shipment—ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and proactive communication throughout. Collaborate with Shipping/Receiving to coordinate order fulfillment, manage shipping schedules, and address priorities. Resolve complex customer issues with professionalism and urgency, providing thorough and effective solutions. Support the broader sales team and cross-functional departments by sharing information and assisting with various projects or tasks. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records by verifying and updating account information regularly. Handle product or service complaints by identifying issues, determining root causes, presenting solutions, and following up to ensure resolution and satisfaction.

Skills/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, or a related field (Required). 2+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or sales support—preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Familiarity with railroad industry products, especially track components and crane rail, is a plus. Experience using SAP and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP) strongly preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Customer-focused mindset with a professional and courteous demeanor. High attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
