This role is responsible for web monitoring to ensure the proper flow of freight to Boyd. This role communicates any issues with loads to customers. Role and Responsibilities 1. Book freight from our customer base to load our trucks. 2. Coordinate with fleet managers to see what trucks can cover the freight we have and prioritize critical loads. 3. Communicate with customers regarding additional capacity that can be provided by assets and brokerage. 4. Navigate through multiple customer websites/portals to set pick up/delivery appts for orders that require them. Update orders with any applicable information needed by drivers. Complete PODs on the websites that require them. 5. Use EDI and manual entry methods to enter the orders into McLeod. 6. Provide signed BOLs to customers on an “as needed” basis. 7. Constant communication with fleet managers throughout the day to provide accurate ETAs for pickups and deliveries to customers. 8. Problem solving throughout the day for various issues that may occur. 9. Communicate with billing/credit about any rate discrepancies that may occur.
Requirements:
High School Diploma MS Office experience and ability to learn in-house computer systems. 1+ year experience working with customers Previous experience in trucking Must have strong writing skills Work Schedule Monday- Friday- 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. 1 hour
