PURPOSE:

As a Sales Consultant maximizes vehicle sales by identifying customer needs, implementing sales processes, promoting the dealership and the products and providing exemplary customer service and care at all times.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

: Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner at all times. Collect relevant and required consumer contact data. Service all allocated sales inquiries in a prompt and effective fashion. Maintain a level of dialogue with all consumers that leave without purchasing. Provide Sales Management with a daily work plan. Maintain a familiarity with respective inventory. Demonstrate vehicles by doing walk-arounds, test drives and product overviews. Achieve a pre-determined level of Minimum Acceptance Performance (MAP) each calendar month. Assist clients by providing information, answering questions, obtaining vehicles requested by clients. Look, act, sound and represent the company in a manner of professionalism. Collect and record customer names, residential and/or business and e-mail addresses, landline and mobile telephone numbers and scan driver’s license in a non-intrusive fashion. Record all customer contacts in current customer database. Protect and preserve the integrity of the company in the promotion and retailing of new and/or pre-owned motor vehicles through the process and guidelines as directed by management. Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping credit and client information confidential. Attend sales meetings and training classes as directed by management. All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Three (3) years of automotive sales experience; Hold current and valid driver license; Must be able to work a fluctuating schedule six days per week; Ability to plan and control; Product knowledge; sales skills; Must be able to multi-task; Ability to collaborate with others; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Proficient knowledge of dealership’s computer systems; Must be a team player with impeccable honesty and integrity; Maintain a high level of professional personal appearance, grooming and conduct; Eligible to work in the United States.
