SUMMARY:

The Senior Sales Development Representative roleprofessionally represents MotionIndustries to our customers withthe knowledge and skills to provide them the product orservice theyneed. This role applies to corporate accounts and other specializedpositionsthat require additional experience (capital projects,international, Motion Ai) or domainknowledge (government,education, healthcare, etc.).

JOB DUTIES

Proactively makes outbound calls with assigned existing accountbase across multiple branch locations to engage and further developsales opportunities. Works closely with decision makers to expand volume business byidentifying, quoting, & converting sales on products not currentlybeing purchased. Works with Motion customer service representatives on orderentry, tracking, and other technical needs.

  • Effectively partners and works across branch and divisionteams to ensure proper execution of customer needs. Diligently updates CRM, to stay current on account follow-upsand active quoting opportunities.
  • Presents Ecommerce capabilities to all assigned accounts andtrains customers on these tools as assistance is needed making iteasy to do business.
  • May act as a mentor to lower level employees.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and five (5) ormore years of related sales experience or an equivalentcombination.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

Strong sales experience in making proactive outbound calls withthe capability of understanding customer pain points, productrequirements, and identifying potential add on salesopportunities.

  • Reliable, organized, detailed, focused, along withdemonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with field salesteams. Strong and professional communication skills; written, verbal,and presentation.
  • Proven business development success through effective use ofcore sales tools such as CRM, LinkedIn, and Microsoft Office(especially Outlook and Excel).

Ability to multi-task with requests and efficiently manage timewhile achieving sales growth goals from assigned accounts. Proactive and possesses a strong sense of urgency for reachingsales goals. Has Drive, Grit, and a Team Oriented “Play to Win”attitude. Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to deal withrejection. Ability to develop rapport, influence others and maintainstrong working relationships.
