This role is specifically focused on marketing and selling our cutting-edge technology products to police departments and law enforcement agencies. The ideal candidate will have a background in law enforcement, coupled with a proven track record in sales and a solid engineering background is a plus. This unique combination of experience will enable the Sales Representative to effectively communicate the technical and practical value of our products and build strong relationships with potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets within the law enforcement sector. Identify and engage with key decision-makers within police departments and law enforcement agencies. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the technical benefits and features of Aegent Technologies’ solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the engineering, marketing, and product development teams to align sales strategies with company objectives. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for growth. Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and other documentation as required. Travel the Southeast 3-4 days per week to visit with potential customers Make phone calls daily to potential customers and arrange meetings to demonstrate products

Qualifications:

Proven experience in sales, preferably in the technology or law enforcement sectors. Background in law enforcement, such as previous experience as a police officer or in a related role, is highly desirable. Strong understanding of the challenges and needs of law enforcement agencies. Solid engineering background, with a strong grasp of technical concepts and the ability to explain them clearly. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools. Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Criminal Justice, or a related field is preferred but not required.
