Job Description:
The Business Sales Consultant will build a strong consultative relationship with current and prospective independent pharmacy owners. Business sales consultants will be responsible for the growth of current and prospective members within an assigned territory. Additionally, sales consultants analyze and address specific operational or strategic challenges that exist within a pharmacy while providing the necessary tools, education, and support to maintain a healthy business.
Core Competencies & Responsibilities:
Retain and broaden current membership base Develop new business in the assigned territory Identify and address all customer needs via a consultative relationship Promote all IPBG solutions to current and prospective members Participate in required sales training to continually maintain a consultative sales approach Utilize customer relationship management software for daily reporting, tracking current customer business, tracking and documenting sales leads, and other purposes as defined by management Understand intermediate-level finances to plan and drive growth, as well as to align territory planning with corporate strategy Utilize problem-solving skills to provide solutions and recommendations that will increase profitability and efficiency Willing to travel extensively within an assigned geographic territory, including events such as conferences, trade shows, and national and regional sales meetings Create travel plans to fully cover the territory Demonstrate the ability to effectively and efficiently manage a sizeable territory Deliver sales presentations to current and prospective members Willing to work extended hours, as needed, to meet sales goals and objectives as defined by management Demonstrate initiative in your professional development such as keeping abreast of industry changes and company literature regarding our industry and profession Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Complete other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements & Work Demands:

Working Environment:
The position requires a combination of both office and travel time up to 8 hours a day
