Known for our top-notch service, product knowledge, and strong vendor relationships, we’re looking for a reliable and driven Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team in East Hartford. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and learning a valuable trade with long-term career potential. Job Description As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll be the go-to contact for customer orders, product quotes, delivery coordination, and vendor communication. You’ll play a key role in helping customers get what they need quickly and accurately—whether it’s a single window or a full door package for a new build. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming calls and emails from contractors and homeowners Provide price quotes on windows, doors, and other building products Enter and manage orders accurately in our system Schedule and coordinate deliveries with our dispatch and warehouse team Communicate with vendors to order special materials as needed Offer product knowledge and solutions to customer inquiries Work closely with outside sales and management to ensure top-tier service Help maintain a clean and organized office/showroom environment What We’re Looking For Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to stay organized and multi-task in a busy environment Computer literacy (basic data entry, email, etc.) Prior experience in building materials, construction, or customer service is a plus, but not required Willingness to learn — training is provided Ambition to grow — this role has potential to move into Office Manager position Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly rate (based on experience) + potential for performance bonuses Health Insurance•employer-sponsored with premium contributions 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays Dental and vision insurance options Employee discount on building materials Ongoing training and advancement opportunities Supportive and team-oriented workplace culture How to
