The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. This role requires a proactive approach to identify customer needs and deliver tailored solutions that enhance their experience. Responsibilities Selling newspaper subscriptions directly to customers, either from a stand, kiosk, or door-to-door Meet or exceed sales targets through effective communication and negotiation Handling cash or electronic payments. Encouraging customers to subscribe to the newspaper (daily, weekly, monthly). Explaining the benefits and features of subscription packages. Answering questions about newspaper content, pricing, or subscriptions. Keeping the selling area tidy and presentable. Displaying newspapers in an appealing manner. Experience Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn about our products and services. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus but not mandatory.
