Looking for candidates with the following experience and background, who can commute to the Greater Hartford Region for prospecting new sales.

About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Outbound Sales Rep to spearhead our growth initiatives in the Connecticut and New England/North East markets. This is a pivotal role for an ambitious “hunter” with a proven track record in outbound sales and negotiation , eager to build a significant presence in new territories. You will be instrumental in launching and nurturing two distinct product verticals, collaborating closely with operational leadership to ensure seamless market entry and sustained success. Key Responsibilities As our Outbound Sales Rep, you will:

Pioneer Market Expansion:

Drive outbound sales efforts to establish and grow our market share across Connecticut and the broader Northeast region.

Operational Collaboration:

Work directly with the General Manager to refine operational logistics, transportation, pricing strategies, and supply chain approaches tailored for the new market.

Strategic Sales of Custom Corrugated Packaging Solutions:

Engage in a highly technical sales process requiring in-depth industry and product knowledge. Sell custom-manufactured corrugated packaging solutions designed specifically for diverse industries, understanding that this involves an extended post-sale cycle due to their bespoke nature.

Sell Ready-Made Packaging & Complementary Industrial Products:

Leverage your expertise in applicable industry experience. Introduce and integrate sales of industrial products and services that complement our packaging offerings, including: Materials and supplies for package assembly (e.g., glue, filler, tape). Industrial supplies like paper goods, janitorial supplies, garment supplies, food service products, trash cans & liners, corrugated mailer packages, and industrial cleaning supplies. Qualifications Proven experience in outbound sales and negotiation , with a strong “hunter” mentality for new client acquisition. Demonstrated ability to develop and manage a robust prospect pipeline and an existing book of business is highly advantageous. Experience in light and heavy industrial and construction sectors is a significant plus. A track record of effectively selling wide ranging solutions, in in-depth product information services , requiring technical knowledge. Strong organizational skills and exceptional follow-up capabilities. Excellent presentation skills and a customer-focused approach. Ability to work operationally with management to optimize logistics and market approaches. Self-motivated with a robust drive to acquire new clients and expand business. This role is ideal for a proactive and experienced Sales person seeking a challenging expansion opportunity in a new environment, who has applicable experience in relatable industries, and understands where the opportunity is. Your extensive background in sales, negotiation, and diverse industrial sectors aligns perfectly with the strategic goals of this position.
