Since 1979, we’ve grownfrom a regional, two-person office to the industry-leadingmanufacturer of commercial structures and greenhouses with over30,000 products distributed through direct marketing, three onlinestores and two lead-generation websites. We are seeking ahard-working Business Development Manager who is passionate aboutbuilding relationships with the commercial greenhouse growingindustry. You will join a fast-paced environment and build highvalue relationships within the GrowSpan Greenhouse brand of ESAPCO.As a Business Development Manager, you will be reporting to theBusiness Development Team Manager and focus on increasing GrowSpanopportunities by developing new business and growing prospects.
Primary activities include building successful relationships withintop 100 companies, tradeshows, joining associations, generalnetworking, and developing outbound call lists to top 100/200companies within the commercial growing vertical.
Essential Dutiesand Responsibilities:
Identify and create opportunities with thecommercial growing vertical. Build lasting business relationshipswith key industry influencers to generate new business leads thatdrive revenue. Researching organizations and individuals to findnew opportunities. Make outbound calls to potential prospectswithin industry verticals and use external lists to generate callcampaigns. Attend industry tradeshows, meetings, and events toleverage opportunities for new leads. Help to create new marketingmaterial to support industry vertical growth. Become a subjectmatter expert on industry verticals and remain up to date onindustry news and competitor landscape. Find gaps and improvementopportunities within specific product lines based on research andrelationships with industry experts. Other duties as assigned.
